THE NURSING PORTAL

This site has been redesigned from the ground up using your ideas to guide us. We have created links to lots of great sites, general as well as nursing. So explore and tell us what you think.

The centre piece of the site is our Nursing Research Engine. This is a growing collection of more than 20,000 links to nursing-related sites. You can use our predefined searches at the top of each page or use a keyword search. Because the major search engines only cover 10-20% of the Internet between them this will help you find sites you would otherwise have never found! What's more, you can add your own or any other nursing related site instantly.

We have also got a great new forum area, The Portal Forum. As well as general dicussion you can use it to organise reunions and get help with research.

On the left are links to the major areas of the Nursing Portal. On the right is a chance to give your opinions in our instant poll questions - the current question . Once you have voted you could express yourself in the Portal Forum and see what other people think. There is also a spot quiz... did you get the answer right? We will be looking for people to submit there own questions and methods for remembering the correct answer - so get thinking!

There is also a link to BNN.... British Nursing News Online. Here you can keep up with the latest nursing news in the UK and World-wide. The site is updated daily and has a searchable archive.
